A William IV period mourning cluster ring.

18 carat yellow gold example.

Designed with a rectangular head, 13mm x 11.8mm. A floral scroll gold border with black enamel inner and a glass fronted braided hair panel to centre.

The shoulders with further gold scroll work and black enamel triangles.

Engraved to reverse of the head; John Woodham died 17 Jan 1832 aged 59.

CONDITION ; Very good. Clean and solid shank, issue free. Clean enamel shoulders. Crisp design and engraving. Light general wear. Please view photographs.
