A fantastic Victorian period mourning locket.
A fine gold back and front example in rose gold.
Superbly well made example. Fine engraved to reverse with blank cartouche.
The front has a large oval enamel scene of a female holding onto a large cross all in the sea. Most likely to mourn the loss of a partner who was lost at sea.
