A stunning quality Victorian era necklace chain, c1880.
Solid 15 carat yellow gold example. Belcher link and three star drops.
The three stars to measure 16mm and 20mm in diameter.
Designed with old mine cut diamonds to the centre in full bezel settings. Surrounding are six points or petals of finely shaped coral with six additional diamonds of rose cuts to the edge. Minimum 1.6 carats of natural diamonds.
CONDITION ; Very good. Clean and crisp design. Working clasp. The stars are likely to have originally been earrings/pendants and then attached to a chain. Issue free. Please view photographs.
